Steps to Register:

1. Visit App Store or Google Play and search ThePeoplesBank-KYMobile

2. Download our app.

3. Register as New User.

4. Enter required information to verify your identity.

5. Give your accounts an Alias for use of Mobile Banking Text Messaging.

6. You will now have access to your accounts!

What is Mobile Banking?

Mobile Banking allows you to view account information, transfer funds, locate ATMs or Branches, contact us, and receive alerts on your mobile device.

Is Online Banking required to enroll in Mobile Banking?

No. Once you have enrolled in Mobile Banking or Online Banking, the log-in credentials will be the same for both options.

Does Mobile Banking Cost Anything?

No. The Peoples Bank Mobile Banking is a complimentary service that we provide to our customers. (Message and data rates may apply.)

Does The Peoples Bank charge for the Mobile Banking App?

No. The app is free to download from the App Store, Android Market or Blackberry App World. (Message and data rates may apply.)

What does the app icon look like?


What transaction history will be available?

You will be able to access up to 15 days of transactions.

What access do I have with Mobile Banking?

You will be able to get balances, transfer funds on accounts for which you are the owner. You will be able to make Loan payments from Mobile Banking, as well as submit billpays and manage your payees.

If I deactivate my debit card with my Mobile Banking App can it be reactivated?

Yes. Deactivating your card will only stop transactions occurring to your account. You can reactivate your card at any time. If you need a new card please contact The Peoples Bank 270-965-3188 or 270-629-5626.

What if I forget my User Name or Password?

What if I change my phone number?

Simply, log in to the Online Banking using the same Log-in credentials as the Mobile App, choose the "Mobile" tab to update your phone number. Your phone number will only be needed in order for you to select alerts to be sent to you.

Can I set up Alerts to my mobile device?

Yes. You can choose Security or Bill Pay Alerts within the Mobile App in the Settings Tab. 

Is it required to have Mobile Banking to use Text Banking?

Yes. Text Banking allows you to access account information such as balances and activity to your accounts by text messaging. (Message and date rates may apply.)

Is there a charge to use Text Banking?

No. The Peoples Bank Text Banking is a complimentary service that we provide to our customers. (Message and data rates may apply.)


What are the Text Banking Commands?

Text to MOBANK (662265)

BAL = Receive the account balance on the Primary Account

BAL ALL = Receive account balance on all accounts listed on your Mobile Banking

ACT = Receive the account activity on the Primary Account

HELP = General Help

STOP = Unenroll your mobile device from Alerts

CMD = Receive a list of available commands
